The best cookies in the world [Citation needed]
And I’ve finally perfected my chocolate-chip cookie recipe. Here goes:
Ingredients
- Mug and a half of unsifted wholewheat flour
- Half a mug of unrefined molasses sugar
- Half a mug of golden caster sugar
- Quarter of a pack of butter (5 ounce)
- An egg
- Half a teaspoon of baking powder
- Bar of plain cook’s chocolate, smashed into tiny fragments
- Lots of cinnamon
- As much vanilla extract as cinnanmon
- Salt, if you like
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celcius (Gas 5)
- Shove the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
- Shove the sugar and butter in another bowl and mix until the lumps are gone.
- Add the egg, chocolate and vanilla and mix to liquid.
- Slowly stir in the flour mix until it’s a really dry dough.
- Line some baking trays with greaseproof, and roll the dough into ping-pong sized balls. Space them well.
- Put them in the oven until they’ve risen to the right size, then turn it up to 200 celcius (gas 6).
- They’re ready when you’re hungry.
